Ducaroy

The Ducaroy House is a minimal home located in Jerusalem, Israel. The design’s primary objective was to maximize the garden area, transforming a previously small, private bedroom into a vibrant, open space with an inviting terrace. This space is designed to foster a sense of openness and hospitality, despite the challenge of single-directional airflow. The architectural approach embraces clean lines and minimalism, while extensive shelving accommodates the owner’s art collection. The design incorporates natural materials such as terrazzo flooring, wooden windows, and wooden kitchen cabinetry, harmonizing with the lush garden visible from the home. Elegant arches enhance the spatial flow, while Togo sofas, chosen for their comfort and flexibility, balance modern aesthetics with functionality. The clients requested a design that combines simplicity with subtle, refined touches, resulting in a cohesive and sophisticated living environment.
